Sydney students recreate life-saving drug that had 5,000% price hike – video

A group of students have managed to create a drug in their school laboratory that had its price controversially increased from US$13.50 to US$750 a tablet by former hedge fund manager Martin Shkreli. The Sydney Grammar students reproduced the drug, Daraprim, which is used to treat a rare but deadly parasitic infection, to prove a point about the price hike, which turned Shkreli into a public villain
